Mary Elizabeth Paxson

PAXSON, Mary Elizabeth, age 98 of Dade City, Florida, died Sunday, September 4, 2016 at Royal Oak Nursing Center.  Born in Noble, Pennsylvania, she moved to Dade City 16 years ago from Brooksville, Florida.  She was a homemaker, enjoyed crafting, playing bingo, golf, bocce ball & shuffleboard and was of the Presbyterian faith.  Survivors include her daughters:  Eleanore Scheb of Horsham, Pennsylvania, Betsy Cash of Charlotte, North Carolina, Barbara Sexton of Rock Hill, South Carolina, Charlene Miller of Ridge Manor, Florida, Patricia Bogdan of New Hope, Pennsylvania, Sandi Raffaele of St. Petersburg, Florida and Wendy Schlight of Oley, Pennsylvania; brothers:  Howard Dicker of Huntingdon, Valley, Pennsylvania and Bob Dicker of Chapel Hill, North Carolina; sister:  Toddy Tompkins of Fort Washington, Pennsylvania; grandchildren:  Hugh, Christopher, Donna, Walter, Angela, Christina, Joey, Adison, Jen, John, Courtney, Sarah and Lindsey; 6 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Bill and Ralph.  Memorial services will be conducted 11:00am, Wednesday, September 7. 2016 at the Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
