MaeMarie Smith

Born August 11, 1932 in Ridgefield, Connecticut, MaeMarie came to Brooksville 47 years ago.  MaeMarie’s happiness was always greater when her family was nearby, including her numerous pets. She was predeceased by her loving and devoted husband, Charles W. Smith, and her parents, C. Belden & Evelyn Nicholas. Survivors include her sons and daughter-in-law, John & Mary Smith of Brooksville, Florida and Chuck Smith of Spring Hill, Florida; daughter and son-in-law, Alicia (Smith) & Jay Diedreck of Spencerport, New York; grandchildren and their spouses, Keaton Nicholas Smith, Judimarie & Andy Bodien, Gretchen & Joe Carletta, Rudy & Angela Diedreck, Chad & Amber Holstein, Cory & Emily Holstein, Ashley Sheridan & Brandon Ransom; and 11 great-grandchildren.  

Calling hours are at 10:00am, Monday, October 21, 2019  at Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill Chapel, where Funeral Services will begin at 11:00am, with Pastor Bob Hope officiating.  Burial will follow at Grace Memorial Gardens in Hudson, Florida.
