She was born in Brooksville, Florida on February 12, 1975 and has been a lifelong resident. She was the owner and operator of an accounting business and was a member of First Baptist Church of Brooksville.
Survivors include her mother, Syretha Bates of Brooksville; brother and sister-in-law, William and Alicia Bates of Brooksville; sister and brother-in-law, Casey and Brian Lee of North Carolina; nieces and nephew, Madison, Alexis, Avery, Molly, Gracyn and Jayce.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill Chapel, with Pastor Scott Harris officiating.
