Kris K. Cox

COX, Kris, age 48, of Brooksville, FL died Thursday, June 25, 2015.  He was born in Columbus, Ohio and came to the area 43 years ago from Sunbury, OH. He was a member of Hernando Realtors and the Living Word Church of God. Kris was described as generous, loving, caring, kind, very honorable and strong willed. He was loved and cherished by many. He was the best brother and friend that anyone could ever ask for. Even though he was taken at the young age of 48, he will still live on in the hearts of his loved ones. He will be greatly missed. Kris is survived by 5 brothers: Kevin and Roy Cox, Rex Wilkins, Paul David Hicks, and Fred Strader; one sister: Elizabeth Cox; 1 son: Kris Hakes; many beautiful nieces and nephews and many beautiful great nieces and great nephews. Visitation will be 5-7pm, Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00am, Friday, July 3, 2015 at the Living Word Church of God with Reverend David Venable officiating. Interment will follow at Florida Hills Memorial Gardens.
