Karen Ann Keefer

KEEFER, Karen Ann, age 63, of Brooksville, FL died Sunday, February 1, 2015 at her home.  Born in Erie, Pennsylvania, she came to the area 28 years ago from North Port, FL. Karen had a passion for many things, first and foremost her husband Ken, her soulmate. Her life revolved around family, cars, drag racing, horses, computer tech and gaming, which kept her life full of adventure. She graduated high school, raised 5 children  and survived cancer twice. She is survived by her husband of 12 years: Ken; children: Danee Keefer and RJ Chamberlin; Dan and Melinda Silverthorn, all of Brooksville, FL; Jim Silverthorn of Beverly Hills, FL; Shannon and Robert  Dean of Tampa, FL; Robert and Yashica Hudson of Jacksonville, FL; Mike and Nina Hudson of Maryland; brother: Patrick Kenehan of Erie PA;  grandchildren: Teddy, Evan, Lee, Treavor, James, Alex, Serenity, Aiden, Zachary, Jordan and Summer; 1 great-grandchild: Nikolas. A memorial service will be conducted at 1:00pm Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel.
