John Wardlaw Batten

He was born April 4, 1950 in Pasco County, Florida and was a life-long resident of Brooksville.  He proudly served his country in the United States Navy and was a Vietnam War Veteran.  He worked for the Hernando County Property Appraiser for many years and was Methodist by faith.

He is survived by his sons, Jason Santucci of Dade City, Florida and Rob Santucci of Brooksville, Florida; brothers, Charles "Buddy" Batten, Wayne Batten, and Dale Batten, all of Brooksville, Florida; sisters, Charlotte Keifer of Dade City, Florida and Shirley Price of Brooksville, Florida; grandchildren, Corey, James, Madison, Nikole, and Emilee; great-grandchildren, Kyleigh and Cash.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00am, Monday, March 29, 2021 at the Johnson-Batten Cemetery, with Reverend David Hope officiating.
