James E. Austin, Sr.

He was born March 3, 1934 in Lebanon, New Hampshire and came to this area 13 years ago from Cheyenne, Wyoming.  He served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War.   He worked as a general manager for bus transportation companies, was a member of First United Methodist Church of Brooksville and was an avid golfer.

He is preceded in death by his stepson, John Zaremba.  He is survived by his wife of 38 years: Lorraine E. Austin; sons and daughter-in-law: James E. Jr. & Lisa Austin of Houston, Texas and Michael D. Austin of Concord, New Hampshire; daughters and sons-in-law: Nancy Lee & Rob Robb of Cheyenne, Wyoming and Wendy Jean Ellis of Concord, New Hampshire; stepson and daughter-in-law: Wayne W. & Patricia Zaremba of  Candia, New Hampshire; stepdaughter and son-in-law: Laurie Jean & Gene Myers of Spring Hill, Florida; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A Gathering for family and friends will be held at 10:00am, Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel, where a Memorial Service will begin at 11:00am, with Pastor Doug Zipperer officiating.
