Ernest Joseph Fischer

FISCHER, Ernest J., age 81 of Spring Hill passed away Monday, January 14, 2013 at HPH Hospice Care Center in Brooksville. Born in Wallington, NJ he came to this area in 1989 from Monroe, NY. He was a U.S. Army Korean Conflict Veteran and member of the Korean War Veterans Chapter #174, the Disable American Veterans, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10209 and St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife: Caroline; son: E.David Fischer; daughters: Sally Armendarez & Judy Belcher and 2 grandchildren: Sheila Belcher & Jason Armendarez. Visitation for friends will be 9-10:45am Friday, January 18, 2013 at Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill Chapel. An 11:00am funeral mass will follow the visitation at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. After mass interment with Military Honors will take place at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
