Mr. Edwin Anthony Rivera Blanton, age 38, of Spring Hill, Florida passed away on Friday, March 31, 2023. Edwin was born in Hampton, Virginia, on August 3, 1984, to Edwin Rivera and Rosemary Daughtery Blanton. Edwin graduated from High School in Collins, MS. Following Graduation he joined the US Navy, serving for 12 years, and was honorably discharged. In the Navy Edwin became a Cryptologist, attended the Navy School of Linguistic, in Monterrey, CA. became fluent in 7 languages. Following his Naval Service he worked for the US Navy as a Civil Servant, in Atlanta, GA. as a Cryptologist. After that time he started a carrier with SCAD, School of Animation and Design, and became a very talented Animator, Designer, and cartoonist. Edwin is survived by his mother Rosemary Daughtery Caraballo of Hattiesburg, Virginia; his uncle Irving & Sylvia Rivera, his aunt Nellie (Edwin) Rivera, his nieces and nephews 16, his aunt Hilda (Edwin) Rivera, his aunt Evelyn (Harry) Maisonet and his aunt Janet (Julio) Rivera.
Edwin also leaves behind 16 nieces and nephews
Edwin was preceded in death by his uncle Harold Rivera.
