Born December 17, 1929 in Franklin, North Carolina, she was the daughter of James and Parlee Sanders. She was a homemaker and loving, wife, mother of two, and grandmother whose life was centered on her family.
She is survived by her children, Eddie McConnell and Linda Whitehurst; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; and her brother, Gene Sanders of North Carolina.
A Visitation for family and friends will be held from 11:00am-12:30pm, Saturday, April 20, 2024 at Merritt Funeral Home, 2 South Lemon Avenue, Brooksville, FL 34601, where Funeral Services begin at 12:30pm. A Graveside Service will follow at 2:00pm at Lake Lindsey Cemetery, 22308 County Road 476, Brooksville, FL 34601.
