Dorothy Jean Hanson

Born December, 5, 1928 in Erie, Pennsylvania, she came to Spring Hill 26 years ago from Oswego, New York.  She worked as a geriatric CNA, was a Respiratory Therapy Technician at Oswego Hospital for 15 years, and a parishioner of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.  She loved reading and gardening, she loved her dogs and had a special bond with her "puppies."

She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Hanson, and son, Joseph, her “Joy."  She is survived by her son and and daughter-in-law: William & Linda Guernsey of Connecticut; daughters and sons-in-law: Margaret & Sam Paura of Oswego, New York, Laurie & Kevin Sheridan of Oswego, New York, Kathy and Paul Eannetta of Spring Hill, Florida; 13 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at a later date.
