Born December 25, 1944 in Seymour, Indiana, he came to Weeki Wachee three years ago from Mount Juliet, Tennessee. Mike was in customer service for many years with American Airlines and United Airlines and was Baptist by faith.
He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Mychael Allen; son, Timothy “Buck” Burkett of Weeki Wachee, Florida; daughter, Kimberly Burkett of Weeki Wachee, Florida; sister and brother-in-law, Suzi & Terry Hunter of Knoxville, Tennessee.
