I'm so sorry to hear of Darla's passing, I spent many happy afternoons fishing in that great pond in their backyard and cooking out with Darla and her extended family. I also worked for Many years with Darla at the health department and her care for the job and staff and clients always shown through.  Rest in Peace! --Nina Mattei

Darla my sister and I have known you since we were just little girls that you would baby sit, to the time you married Shayne, and you were pregnant with Matt and so many memories from Easter, to Thanksgiving and Christmas and all those little events in between.

Darla was a beloved wife and mother and friendly person to our neighborhood.  I worked with her husband and my fiance lived next door. I cannot express how welcoming Darla was to Red to have coffee with him almost daily, and even after his passing the support she provided  me with him gone. Mathew, her son is a God sent and I am so sorry for her loss. She was a wonderful, delightful, kind soul. I take solace that she is no longer in pain and with the love of her life. R.I.P ms. Darla. Gone but never ever forgotten. Much love to the Lyons family
