He was born August 1, 1942 in Mill Creek, West Virginia and came to the area eight years ago from Georgia. He was a contractor in the commercial masonry industry and attended Spring Hill Church of Christ.
He is preceded in death by his son, Falon Ambrose Scott. He is survived by his wife of 51 years: Alberta "Marie" Scott; son and daughter-in-law: Dane & Gwendolyn Scott of Rancho Murieta, California; brother: Jerry Wamsley of Dallas, Georgia; sister: Peggy Meek of Canton, Ohio; four grandchildren: Samuel Scott, Jadon Scott, Isaiah Scott, and Ambera Scott.
