Clinton Gerald Waggoner

1946-2021

Clinton “Jerry” Gerald Waggoner Jr., age 75, went peacefully into the arms of Jesus on October 22, 2021.

He was born on January 13, 1946 in Martinez, California and later moved to Florida in 1980. In 1966, Jerry was drafted into the Army for the Vietnam War and was stationed in Fort Ord, California where he served honorably.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 54 years, Carol Waggoner of Brooksville, FL. Children: Kenneth Waggoner and his wife Lyn of the Philippines; Carrie and her husband Stephen Miller of Brooksville, FL; and Karen and her husband Jason Shinall of Zephyrhills, FL. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Clinton is also survived by three siblings, Monty, Mary Jo, and Mark.

He served many roles in the church including a Deacon, Music Minister, and even a Prison Chaplain.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be given to the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews who take care of Holocaust survivors.
