Carolyn June Bentley

She was born June 28, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois and came to this area 41 years ago.  She worked as a Counselor for Children and Family Services for the State of Florida and was a member of Faith Evangelical Presbyterian Church.  She was involved in the Monday Bridge Club at the Dade City Senior Center, Keenagers Bible Study at First Presbyterian of Dade City, and Darling Dames of Dade City Red Hat Society. 

Survivors include her son, Scott McKay of Tampa, Florida; daughter, Leslie Parker of Brooksville, Florida; sister, Barbara Rejal; five grandchildren, Jessica Nugent, Melissa Parker, Adam McKay, Cathryn McKay, Daniel McKay; nine great-grandchildren, Eugene, Darby, Asher, Tobias, Halenia, Athena, Killian, Haven, Ainsley.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:30pm, Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Faith Evangelical Presbyterian Church, with Pastor Dave Franklin officiating.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial gift to the Nugent Family.  Carolyn's granddaughter, Jessica Nugent, her husband, Dylan, and their four sons serve as missionaries in Kenya.  Dylan is an orthopedic surgeon for Tenwek Mission Hospital.
