Barbara Ann Davis

DAVIS, Barbara Ann, 72, of Spring Hill, Florida passed away Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at the Sturgill Hospice House in Brooksville, Florida. She was born July 10, 1949, in Highland Park, Michigan to Frank and Vera (Sebastian) Bogner. Barb relocated to Florida in 2001 from Rochester Hills, Michigan. She was a spec writer, in automotive design for General Motors Tech Center in Warren, Michigan. Barb was highly creative and crafty, she enjoyed pine needle basket weaving. Barb participated in the women’s association and couple’s teams, she was a champion golfer at Silverthorn Country Club and Eagle Glen Golf Course. She was Methodist by faith and a member of the Mariner United Methodist Church.

Barbara is preceded in death by her father: Frank Bogner; mother: Vera Bogner; brother-in-law: Jim White; sister-in-laws: Elaine Davis; and Holly Bogner. Survivors include her husband: Charles T. Davis, of Spring Hill, Florida; brothers and sister-in-law: Jim Bogner, of Hillsborough, North Carolina; Norm & Nancy Ott, of Midland, Michigan; brother-in-law: Clifford Davis, of Rochester, Michigan; sisters: Linda Field, of Goose Creek, South Carolina; Vivian White, of Royal Oak, Michigan.

Services will be held for Barb at Mariner United Methodist Church on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at 9:30am. Inurnment to follow at 11:30am at Florida National Cemetery, in Bushnell, Florida.
