Audrey H. Collins

She was born in Roselle, New Jersey on January 7, 1928 to Lillian and John Kirk.

Audrey was married to Sherman Collins on August 23, 1947, who preceded her in death in 2002.

Audrey worked for a variety of firms in the New Jersey metropolitan area, including Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.

A lifelong, devoted Episcopalian, Audrey was an active member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Spring Hill. She was a long-time member of the altar guild. She was also an active member of the Glen Lakes community, including the Book Club, the New Jersey Club, the Garden Club, and the Red Hat Society. Kind and outgoing, Audrey readily made and maintained many lifelong friendships with her neighbors, colleagues, and fellow church members.

She is survived by her son and his wife, Doug Collins and Sheila Johnson; daughter, Elizabeth Sutkowski; grandchildren, Arevik and Lauren Sutkowski (husband Rob); great-grandson, Colton; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements will be held at St. Andrews Episcopal Church (2301 Deltona Boulevard, Spring Hill, FL 34606) where a Visitation for family and friends will be held at 10:00am and Service at 11:00am on Wednesday, October 2, 2024. A brief Graveside Service will be held at Florida National Cemetery (6502 SW 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, FL 33513) at 1:30pm on the same day.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made in Audrey's name to St. Andrews Episcopal Church or Corrigan Place Assisted Living both in Spring Hill, FL.
