Anne was born on October 12, 1933 to William C. Whiteaker and Imogene Conrad Whiteaker in Atlanta, GA. After Anne graduated in 1951 from Miami Edison High School in Miami, FL, she went on to study business at Stephen’s College in Columbia, Missouri. In 1953, Anne married Robert Edward Webster, Jr. and went on to have five children, Graham Lee Webster, husband of Ana Laura Webster; Glenn Lyndon Webster; Jennifer Anne Dunnigan; Gregg Edward Webster, husband of Barbara Lee Roberts; and Rhoda Gene Dragoo, wife of Brian Christopher Dragoo. In 1991, Anne retired from teaching at Princeton Christian High School in Princeton, FL, moved to Brooksville, FL, and enjoyed being an active member of the Colonial Dames, Daughters of the American Revolution, and the United Daughters of the Confederacy. She spent her time playing cards with friends, attending church, and collecting antiques. She was also known for her love of plants and animals.
Anne is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Edward Webster, Jr. She is survived by her five children and eight grandchildren, Graham Lee Webster, Jr.; Allen Edward Dunnigan, Jr.; Jesse Andrew Dunnigan; Daniel Glenn Webster; Ana Laura Peréz-Olave; Rebecca Louanne Webster; Sophia Marie Dragoo; and Ethan Christopher Dragoo. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren, Andrew Jesse Dunnigan and Samantha Rose Dunnigan.
There will be a Visitation for family and friends from 10:00am-12:00pm, Thursday, November 3, 2022 at Merritt Funeral Home, in Brooksville, FL, where Funeral Services begin at 12:00pm, with Deacon Eric Makoid officiating. A Graveside Service will follow at Brooksville Cemetery at 1:30pm.
