William J. Fitzpatrick

"Billy Fitz" was born on May 11, 1949. He was a Lance Corporal in the U.S. Marine Corp and served our country with courage and honor in the Vietnam War. When he came home he worked for Brooklyn Union Gas and retired after a long career.

Billy was predeceased in death (by one month) by the love of his life Jacqueline "Jackie" Homann Fitzpatrick, his adoring mother Mildred "Connie" Fitzpatrick, and his brother Donald Fitzpatrick.

Billy is survived by the loving Darcy and Steffens families and many friends.

A visitation for William will be held Wednesday, February 7, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at M.J. Smith Sons, 255 Ninth Street, Brooklyn, NY 11215. A mass of christian burial will occur Thursday, February 8, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Holy Name Jesus Church, 245 Prospect Park West, Brooklyn, NY 11215. An internment will occur Thursday, February 8, 2024 at approximately 12:00 PM at Resurrection Cemetery, 391 Sharott Avenue, Staten Island, NY 10309.
