Romana DeMonte, age 86, of Brooklyn, New York passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Fortunato. Devoted mother of Anthony and Vito (the late Lori). Dearest mother in law of Sophia and AnneMarie DeMonte. Cherished grandmother of Stephanie and Corey Zwerling, Anthony and Alicia DeMonte, Jennifer DeMonte, Christopher DeMonte, Elizabeth DeMonte, Kathie and Matthew Scicchitano. Loving great grandmother of Addison DeMonte, Natalie DeMonte, Serena Zwerling, Anthony Joseph DeMonte, Chloe Zwerling and Joseph Philip Scicchitano.A visitation will be held Wednesday June 28, 2023 at Cusimano & Russo Funeral Home, 2005 West 6th St, Brooklyn, NY 11223 from 2-5pm and 7-9pm. A funeral mass will occur Thursday, June 29, 2023 from 9:45 AM to 10:45 AM at Church of Saints Simon and Jude, 185 Van Sicklen Street, Brooklyn, NY 11223. An entombment will occur Thursday, June 29, 2023 from 11:15 AM to 11:45 AM at Greenwood Cemetery, 500 25th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11232.
