Pearl Anitra Butler

Born on September 2, 1946, Pearl-Anitra was a lifelong resident of Brooklyn, NY. She worked for over thirty years at the Worker’s Compensation Board as an examiner. She was a dedicated and loyal member, and former Exalted Ruler, of the New York Elks Lodge No. 1.

Pearl-Anitra is survived by her son, Salvatore DiStefano, relatives, and friends.

She was predeceased by her father, William Klerck Bryde in 1976 and mother, Jean (Crannell) Bryde in 1983.

Visitation hours will be held from 2-5 p.m. and from 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at Cusimano and Russo Funeral Home, 2005 W. 6th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11223. A funeral will take place from 9-11 a.m. on Friday, December 9, 2022 with an interment to follow at Calverton National Cemetery, 210 Princeton Boulevard, Calverton, NY 11933.
