I wish to send my condolences to Lucille's family and friends. I only know her by her internet presence and was saddened to learn of her passing. Having read her obituary, I was pleased that she entertained so many people with her musical talent down the years, doing what she loved. Being in the UK, I only learned the sad news very recently, so my apologies for my very late response. Once again, my sincere condolences.

Thanks Lucille!  I've been listening to your song "Hairdresser" for years.  Your honest joy and ability to relish a melody is infectious.  Thank you!

I only knew Lucille through her videos, but they have provided me with joy for many years and will continue to delight me and others for years to come. I was sad to hear of her passing. I hope that her family and friends take comfort knowing how much happiness her performances have brought to strangers around the world. In my mind, Lucille is a kind of legend. Rest in peace, Lucille. ❤️

I heard Lucille's "Hairdresser" for the first time today, she had a lot of talent. It's a perfect late 50s - early 60s type pop song.  I think it's great that she followed her dreams and I think you should know she's still bringing people happiness today. I'm sorry for your loss! 

Lucille was a life long friend. She was a very talented, generous, and compassionate person. I have so many beautiful memories from sitting out in the summer, to going to see her sing at various restaurants and cafes to just going to dinner. I will forever miss her and she will always have a special place in my heart.  My deepest condolences to her family and friends.

So sorry for your loss.  I do remember your sister as a little girl.  As I look at her picture (and the woman she became) I remember her as a child.  It has been a good many years.  Her accomplishments are impressive.  It seems she lived her dreams.

Lucille and I were roommates at Silver Lake Specialized Center on Staten Island.  I was placed in a room with her and she immediately took care of me.  We became very close friends and I will miss her enormously.

I'm in Los Angeles and have never met Lucille but I found her videos online with "stairway to stardom " her zest and talent have kept me entertained for awhile now. To her family, friends and loved ones I am sorry for your loss
