I still cannot, and don't want to believe this. Iris was the most unselfish person, and always put everyone first. I remember cruises and house get togethers with the Unger family. I will NEVER forget how friendly, funny, and caring Iris was. My heart aches and breaks for Rachelle and Bruce. I wish I could be there tomorrow, but the rest of the Schenker family will be. Iris, we love you and will miss you always. As tears come down my face, I wish you the deepest of peace. Watch over your family, and I hope you have Lady and Buddy there with you! It's not goodbye, it's until next time.

As a complete shock, my best friend has passed away yesterday.  Iris was the friend who would always be there for you no matter what. She was kind, thoughtful and the backbone for her family.  Iris would always take care of other peoples needs before she would take care of herself.  She was 100% selfless.  My friend Iris was my best friend and 2nd sister.  She was there for my family and me when my son had passed away.  RIP my sister and now you are healthy from all of your pain.  My deepest condolences to Bruce and Rochelle.  May G-D be with you.
