Harriet Deighnan Fallon, 71, passed away in peace with home hospice on Saturday, September 17, 2022. Born and raised in Park Slope, Brooklyn, Harriet was a graduate of Marymount College (1972), Saint Saviour High School (1969) and Saint Saviour Elementary School (1966). She worked for many years in the marketing sector for various magazines as well as the First Women’s Bank. Harriet also worked at AT&T and later became a consultant there.
Harriet is survived by her brother, Raymond F. Fallon III (Judy); Raymond F. Fallon II (deceased); her sister, Eileen Maloney, deceased (John), her nephews John Maloney Jr., Michael Maloney (Jilian), Matthew Maloney, and her niece Erin Phillips (Mark). She is also survived by great nieces, Aileen, Patricia, Mila Hope and great nephew, Brendan.
Harriet loved to travel and be part of her New York City neighborhood including a Walking Group and classes at Hunter College. Her enjoyment of attending family events was evident as well as being the family archivist/historian. Her love of Channel 13 was a source of many discussions.
While we will miss her every day, we are comforted in knowing she is in heaven with her Father, Raymond Francis Fallon; Mother, Eileen Cunningham Fallon; Sister, Eileen Fallon Maloney and all the relatives and friends who have welcomed her into their angelic arms.
Memorial at Joseph G. Duffy Funeral Home, 255 Ninth Street, Park Slope, Brooklyn, New York 11215 on Saturday, October 1, 2022, from 1:00 – 5:00 PM. Internment of Ashes will be held at a later date with immediate family at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, Long Island. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations honoring Harriet’s life be contributed to pbs.org – Donate/Memorial & Tribute Gifts in the name of Harriet D. Fallon.
