I very much dislike this. Glen was a beacon. He was the epitome of showing up late, but right on time. He was an absolute. I miss you Glen. I miss you a lot. So much , dude. So much. I don’t understand any of this and nobody wants to explain it. You’re forever my brother. Always. Always. Always.

   I only knew Glen for a short period of time, compared to many who remember him, but I can say he was one of the most sincerest people with a hurricane of thoughts in his life.

   I will neither forget the music he introduced me to, nor forget the time the police intervened in our casual conversation... just to be told we were being too loud in conversation.

Just got the news. Glen was a good friend and I'm going to miss him terribly. I was with him when he turned 21. He was so excited about being able to finally buy beer. We went to the package store to get some Killian's Red and the cashier didn't card him. He was so angry because they didn't ask for his ID, it was hilarious.

Glen knew so much about so many things, it was always fun to watch him get in arguments with people, he had such a great sense of humor, you couldn't beat him. We had great times at Ozzfest and other shows. He was always introducing me to new music and was a talented musician himself.

I was sad when he moved away but we kept in touch over the years. I am so sorry for the family, my sincerest condolences. Glen still lives in my heart and I will never forget what his friendship meant to me.

So very sorry for your loss. I didn’t know Glen personally but I did see how devastated my daughter was when she learned of his passing. Hopefully his fond memories bring you all comfort in time. 

Marsha, Myles, Myles Jr., I am so terribly sorry to hear about Glen.  I  just got the news.  I have no words, only tears for the pain I know you are going through.  Your in my prayers!  Hopefully Glen will have time to touch base with Danny and make some music.


Kim and I share in the sadness of your families loss. May the happier memories and brighter days quickly overshadow the sorrow.

The Dragonfly Story

Then he realized that even if they could see him they would not recognize such a radiant creature as one of their number.

To the family members of Glen Alan Washington Jr., please accept sincere condolences on the death of your beloved.  The pain felt by the loss of a loved one runs very deep and gradually eases with the passing of time.  Few can say that there is 100% healing.   To aid us during this time of our life, our Creator Jehovah has had words of comfort recorded so that we can read and feel the soothing effects when we feel sad.  For example, at John 5:28,29 very comforting words were said by the son of God, Jesus Christ.  These verses state: “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life……”.   Please meditate on those verses and see your loved one Glen being raised to life right here on a paradise earth.   What a time that will be.   So once again sincere condolences.
