David Jimenez

He was born in the Bronx, NY on September 9, 1952 to Petra Rodriguez and Andres Jimenez.

David served his country as a member of the United States Air Force for 20 years, retiring at the rank of Master Sergeant. His overseas tours of duty included Clark AFB, in the Philippines, and RAF Croughton, in England. David was an amazing fisherman and had a great love for the ocean. He was also once a well decorated racquetball player, as well as coach.

David is survived by his mother Petra Rodriguez; wife Sandra Purnell Jimenez; daughters Shanti Renee and Davira Francine, of New York City; daughter Danielle, son-in-law Damian Rangel, and grandchildren Gabriel, Alicia, Emilio, and Elias of Mascoutah, IL; and son David Antonio, of Stuttgart, Germany.

A visitation for David will be held Saturday, November 20, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Cusimano & Russo Funeral Home, 2005 West 6th St, Brooklyn, NY 11223.

Burial will take place, with military honors, on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, in Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola, FL
