Ah, Danny - I just found out about your passing. I am so disappointed that we did not keep in better contact since high school. You were the one person at Tech that I thought could relate to me best.

My sincerest belated condolences to your surviving family. I hope I have the opportunity to share my sorrow with them and celebrate your life sometime soon.

I just saw on the Brooklyn Tech Alumni page of your passing.  We were train buddies in High school and you were always a kind easy person to talk to.   You turned my on to Billy Joel and he remains my favorite musician always.  I'm so sad to have found out of your passing.  Rest easy my friend.

My roommates and I were shocked and saddened by Dan's passing. We could not have asked for a better super. He was not merely someone who ably and quickly fixed issues with the apartment, but a warm and kind neighbor. He was the soul of the building and will be greatly missed by all of its tenants.

My dear friend, Dan. So kind, so gentle, so accepting, so generous of spirit and heart. This loss is hard to take. 

Thank you for being such a genuine friend. Thank you for the card games, the Irish whiskey and the good laughs. Thank you for always being willing to lend a hand. Thank you for sharing your friends and family. Thank you for your strength of character and for your patient calm.

I will miss you always.

I could never ask for a better friend in this world. Dan was a brother. A lifetime of close friendship and not once did we ever argue. He didn't argue. He listened and accepted people for who they were. He never brought problems but always had solutions.

This picture was taken on St. Patrick’s day earlier this year outside of Dan’s apartment, The day before his mother’s wake. Here he is with a picture of Mrs. O’Leary, his beloved mom.

The Timlin family is deeply saddened by the passing of Dan. A gentleman who always smiled and made you feel loved. He will be missed dearly especially by his close family and friends. Rest in Peace Dan. Say hello to your Mom

I am so saddened by Dan's passing, Dan was such a bright light in this world. When I first met Dan I was just entering the Tully/Timlin Clan, he introduced himself ( with that great smile and warm greeting ) and welcomed me to the extended family. I always looked forward to seeing Dan at the family gatherings where he would greet you with that Great smile and that genuine , How are you doing Bob?
Dan, you've left us to soon but I know you will be watching over us !!

I’m so very sorry to hear about Dan. He was the kindest, sweetest and caring gentleman.  His values, love of life and his family were so strong. There are no words big enough to describe what an amazing human he was.  I was honored to have known him.  May he rest in peace. My brother from another mother.  Dano was more than a brother in law, he was the little brother I never had. I met Dan when he was 19 at the Coach Inn he greeted me with that warm smile, gave me a big hug and bought me my first Guinness and the rest is history.  I am 100 percent sure that there is not a person who met Dan and wasn’t touched by his kindness and big heart.  I will always cherish the great memories I have of us over the last 38 years. Your passing left a hole in my heart that will never heal. I never felt pain like that in my life. It was such a shock and so sudden that it doesn’t seem real. Life can be cruel. Heaven just gained another angel. I feel better knowing that you reunited with your mom, I know how hard that was for you. Say hello for me. Till we all meet again. Love you brother❤️
