C. Russell Phillip passed away in Brooklyn on January 8, 2023. He was originally from Trinidad and came to the United States in the late 1960’s. He was a past President of the Brooklyn Rugby Lions Club, receiving a number of awards for his services. He also received many other awards for community work with schools. He was a very private person, but was always willing to help his fellow man.
Left to mourn his passing are his wife, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, relatives, in-laws and friends.
