Tony had a successful fish business known as Sea Beach Fish Market, located in the heart of Gravesend, Brooklyn where he grew up. He was very hard working and dedicated to his family. Tony was an active member of the Castellammare Del Golfo social club for over forty years and was awarded ``Man of the Year” in 1994. He was recognized for his service and contributions to the Gravesend community and Chamber of Commerce.
Tony’s military career included work at Walter Reed hospital as a medic during the Korean War. Tony was extremely patriotic and loved the American Flag, coincidentally passing on Flag Day.
Tony’s biggest success was when he met his wife Frances. They have been happily married for 62 years. He was a loving husband and father to three children, Linda, Anthony (Andrea), Josephine (Dino); six grandchildren (Nicole, Michael, Marina, Madelin, Luca, Nico); and two great-grandchildren (Cody, Aiden). He enjoyed world travel and became a snowbird in his later years, eventually picking up tennis as a hobby.
Tony was the epitome of elegance and class. He always loved dressing impeccably and together with his beautiful wife, enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
A visitation for Anthony will be held Thursday, June 16, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A visitation will occur Friday, June 17, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A visitation will occur Friday, June 17, 2022 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Funeral Mass- Saturday Saint Mary Mother of Jesus 10:30 A.M. Interment Green-Wood Cemetery.
