Devoted husband of the late Bernice “Betty” (Rothberg)and the late Ruth(Sack Olansky). Beloved companion of Sheila Striar, for whose love, caring and devotion to Bill his family will always be grateful. Devoted father of Martin & Nancy Bauman, Daniel & Hillery Bauman and Heidi & Dr. Norman Wortzman and stepfather of Neil & Cindy Olansky and Susan (Olansky) Faldasz. Proud Papa of his loving grandchildren Jonathan Bauman & his fiancée Gila Yudewitz, Bailey Bauman, Betty Bauman, Adam Bauman, Brett Wortzman, Jared Wortzman, Ethan Wortzman and four step grandchildren and one step greatgranddaughter. Dear brother of the late Harry Bauman, Bessie (Bauman )Lemack, Abraham Bauman. Dear brother-in-law of Ruth (Rothberg) Erno, Morris Sack and the late Martin Sack, and devoted uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Services at Temple Emeth, 194 Grove Street, Chestnut Hill on Monday, February 2 at 1:30pm. Burial at Temple Emeth Memorial Park, 776 Baker Street, West Roxbury. Immediately following burial, Shiva will commence at Temple Emeth through 8pm and continue at the home of Hillery & Daniel Bauman through Sunday with morning and evening Minyan. For many decades, Bill was a proud “minyonaire” of the Temple Emeth daily minyan. His friendship and many witticisms will be deeply missed.
