SHAPIRO, THELMA (NOVICK)–resident of Somerville, formerly of Malden & Brookline, entered into rest March 25, 2013.
In her later years, she managed her antique business.
She was the devoted daughter of the late Max and Eva Novick. Loving mother of Sylvia DeVito & her husband Anthony of Stow and Ellen Shapiro of Somerville. Loving sister of Alice Maples of Amarillo, TX & the late Anne Novick, Pauline Gordon, Pearl Wiseblood and Robert Novick. Cherished grandmother of Amy Paquette & her husband Victor and Melissa Novakoff Lynch & her husband Michael. Adored great grandmother of four and dear aunt of several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services Friday, March 29, 2013 at 12 noon at Stanetsky Memorial Chapels, 1668 Beacon Street, BROOKLINE. Interment to follow at Lebanon Tifereth Israel Memorial Park, Peabody.
