Semyon Ferdman

Semyon Ferdman of Newton. Entered into rest on October 16, 2012 at age 81. Semyon leaves behind his beloved wife, Sofia (Melamut) Ferdman of 56 years. He was the dear son of Mordehay and Meryl (Pearlrosen) Ferdman. He was the devoted father of Irina and her husband Mikhail Starikov and Vladimir Ferdman and his wife Elise Hayden-Ferdman. He was the cherished grandfather of Fred and his wife Lyn Starikov, David Starikov, Jonah Ferdman-Hayden, and Maxim Ferdman-Hayden; as well as great-grandfather to Lydon Abraham and Lola Soleil. Services will be held on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Stanetsky Memorial Chapels, 1668 Beacon Street, Brookline, MA 02445. Burial will follow at Butrimantzy Cemetery, 776 Baker Street, West Roxbury, MA. Family and Friends are invited to the home of Irina and Mikhail Starikov after the burial.
