Sandra L. "Sandy" (Popkin) Wheeler of Chestnut Hill on Thursday, February 3, 2022. Devoted wife of the late Joseph for 50 years. Beloved mother of Barrie Wheeler and her husband Amit Segal & Richard Wheeler. Loving grandmother of Eitan and Nina Segal. Dear sister of Jim & Elise Popkin and Barbara Popkin. Dear sister-in-law of the late Doris & Chester Mitchell and Robert & Carole Wheeler. Fond aunt of many nieces, nephews and their families.
Sandy was a well-known and respected real estate broker for many years. She loved to entertain and was famous for her parties, entertaining in her backyard, her noodle puddings, tzimmes and briskets were legendary. Her home and table was also open to anyone that did not have a place to go and there was always room for one more person at any holiday event.
Services on Sunday, February 6 at Temple Beth Zion, 1566 Beacon Street, Brookline at 10:30am with interment at Temple Emeth Memorial Park, 776 Baker Street, West Roxbury at 12:00pm.
