Age 85, of Framingham, formerly of Delray Beach, FL and Chestnut Hill, passed away peacefully on April 1st, 2023.
Roz was born in Cambridge on April 29, 1937 to the late Benjamin and Dorothy (Altman) Estner and raised in New Bedford. She graduated from Boston University in 1958 with a degree in Education. Roz was at various times a teacher, a stay-at-home mom, and a businesswoman. Throughout her life, she took on leadership roles in her community and synagogue. Roz was Sisterhood President at Temple Emeth in Chestnut Hill, President of the Women’s group at Palm Greens in Delray, and ran trips to visit the Jewish Museum in Miami for Temple Anshei Shalom in Delray Beach, FL. She will be fondly remembered for her love of family and Happy Day birthday cakes.
Roz is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years, Ronald Glickman. She was the caring mother of David Glickman and his wife, Deborah of Newton and Debby Scher and her husband, Bill of Sharon; and a loving grandmother to Allie and Jeremy Glickman and Arielle and Adam Scher.
Funeral Services will be held at Levine Chapels, 470 Harvard Street, Brookline, on Monday, April 3rd at 11:30am. Burial will follow at Temple Emeth Memorial Park, 776 Baker Street, West Roxbury.

Shiva will be held Monday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm with a minyan at 7pm, at the home of Deborah and David Glickman.
On Tuesday, Shiva will be held from 1-3pm at the Shillmam House, 49 Edmands Road, Framingham, MA 01701 and from 5-8pm at the home of Deborah and Bill Scher.
