Relatively recent residents of Wellesley, Bob and his beloved wife Sally (Brudno) Wyner both grew up in Brookline, and then spent most of their adult lives in Newton and Chestnut Hill. Bob and Sally were married in 1948. Bob graduated from Harvard College in 1947. During World War II he served in the United States Army, and was discharged as a Second Lieutenant. He received his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School in 1950, and was a business executive in the healthcare industry. For many years Bob and Sally also lived in St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands. Bob was the founder of the Newton Highlands Athletic Association.
Besides his wife, he was the beloved father of Roger Wyner and his wife Holly; Wendy (Wyner) Levine and her husband Rick Levine; Bruce Wyner and his wife Linda Morgan; and Gary Wyner and his wife Eileen; grandfather of (in order of age) Micah and Brian Bonaviri, Russell, Lauren, Zac and Emily Wyner, and great-grandfather of Zoey and Luca Bonaviri.
A memorial service will take place at Temple Israel, 477 Longwood Ave, Boston, MA on Sunday, June 14 at 11:30AM with a reception following the service in the Temple.
