Richard A. Hill

Richard Allen Hill aged 93, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 21, 2024, at Miriam Boyd Parlin Residence, in Wayland, MA, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on October 21, 1930, in Framingham, MA, to Irene and Harry Hill. He was a proud resident of Natick, MA for 70 years and was a 1948 graduate of Brookline High School. He was married to Janice Cohen.

Richard (Dick/Dickie/Papa) owned Janeen Jewelers in Framingham, MA. He was an avid fan of all sports and was especially known for his commitment and love of Baseball/Softball and Youth Development. He served a two-year commitment in the US Army from 1948-1950 and during that time he played Triple A Baseball for the Sacramento Seals, a Franchise of the Boston Red Sox.

He is survived by his three children; Lisa Asanovic, (married to Tomo Asanovic), Jeffrey Hill and Steven Hill, his grandchildren; Jenna Hill, Jessica Moloney, (married to Tyler Moloney), Samantha Hill, Alexandra Hill, Lucas Asanovic, Kyle Asanovic and Ian Asanovic, as well as his great grandchildren; Reagan Moloney, Wyatt Moloney and Chloe Sokolinski.

Family, friends and everyone who would like to honor his memory are invited to Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon, MA on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at 11:45 AM.
