Nana, 

You were (and still are, kinda, up there, yeah) joyful, happy, kind, thoughtful, and caring.  I am truly blessed to have been your grandson.  I miss you so much, but even though you have passed, the memories that I have with you will happily stay with me forever.  Talking about books, teaching you my Bar Mitzvah prayers, even going out to eat with you.  Those memories, and so much more show how great of a person you truly were.  I love you more than I or anyone else could ever write out or speak in words, and you will always, always have a special place in my heart.

To Jim and Amy and family,

I am very sad to learn of your mother's passing in The Jewish Advocate.

We were out of town and missed the obituary in the Globe, so I was sad to learn we missed the funeral, as well.

Your mother adored her grandchildren, and told me that babysitting for Amy's kids was what got her out of bed and going in the morning.

There is more...She was lovely to me, and told me how much she appreciated what my father and Serkey did for you and Amy when you were living in New York.

May your mother be with your father eternally in Olam haBa...She told me she had a thing or two to tell him there! : )

Very sorry to hear of Renee's passing.  My deepest condolences to all of her family on this tremendous loss.  Renee was a wonderful person with a kind word and a friendly smile for everyone.  I feel fortunate that I had the opportunity to know her and work with her during my time at BU.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.  Your mother was a wonderful person. When I would visit during our college years she would treat me like a second son.  I will always keep special memories of her and your grandfather.

My heart goes out to Renee's family and friends.  Renee practically watched me grow up when I was an undergrad at BU. She was always the first person I spoke to in the office.  She was a beautiful person and had a most infectious laugh.  Bless her.

I was very sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. I remember her well seeing her at Newbridge when my  Mom was there . She was always so comforting to my Mom and myself . I hope you are comforted by your many memories of what a caring person she was. Her memory will be a blessing  from what I experience from her . Bless you.

She was an amazing woman who always had a smile on her face and a nice thing to say. I met her in 2001 when I was only 4 years old. She was a great friend and I will remember her for the rest of my life.
