Raymond A. Schwartz

Raymond A. Schwartz (Ray) passed away peacefully on April 25, 2024 in Brookline, Massachusetts after a long illness at the age of 78. Ray lived in his beloved Brookline his entire life. He attended Runkle School and Brookline High School. Ray had been an avid runner with many routes within Brookline, especially around the Brookline Reservoir. The Golden Temple was a favorite restaurant and an integral part of Christmas Eve celebration. He loved the Boston Bruins and held season tickets for many years. Ray was a sales representative for several companies and then independently, even near the end of his life.

Ray is survived by his wife of 37 years, Lynn Thomas Schwartz, and daughter, Samantha Schwartz, of Brooklyn, NY, and his sister, Bonnie Grossmann, of Fort Myers, Florida.

The family will plan a private celebration of life service.
