she created. She was always at the center of her family’s world and made sure everyone was
well taken care of and remained close.
Phyllis Marion Rothman was a woman full of life, joy and love. She was always on the go with a
smile on her face and a kind word to say about everyone. Anyone who was lucky enough to
have crossed her path, their world was a lot brighter with her in it. She was the most kind,
sweet and compassionate woman who always put her family and friends first. She loved life
and lived to its absolute fullest. Phyllis was an avid tennis player, a remarkable piano player,
she loved to dance and sing, cook, travel, paint and everything fashion. Her house was the
gathering place for family holidays and get-togethers. She was also a top producer at Clinique
cosmetics and turned clients into friends in the matter of seconds. She had miles of friendships
but above all else, her family was her world.
On December 25, 1936 Phyllis was born to Syndey and Ann Schneider who fostered a passion
and love of life in her. She adored her father until his early passing. She later went on to meet
the love of her life, Robert Rothman, where they shared 66 memorable years together and two
children: Steven Rothman and Cheri and her husband Howard Freedman. Phyllis will be greatly
missed by her granddaughter, Stephanie Dickerman and her husband Jayson Dickerman. She
leaves behind two great-grandchildren, Jordan and Sienna Dickerman. Phyllis will also be
missed by her brother, Norman Schneider and his wife, Wendy. She will be reunited with her
loving grandson, Joshua Zunick, and her brother Dickie Schneider.
Phyllis will be missed by all those who knew and loved her. Services will be held at Shara t’filo
Cemetery at 776 Baker Street, West Roxbury, MA 02132 at 10:00 am on Thursday, February
