Merton Greenstein

Merton Greenstein, 93, of Chestnut Hill, formerly of Haverhill, MA, entered into rest on November 2, 2024. Cherished husband of the late Eileen (Silverman) Greenstein. Stepfather to Jeffrey Lesse and his wife, Joan Buchbinder of Needham, MA and Joanne (Lesse) Davlin and her husband, Dr. Lance Davlin of Virginia Beach, VA and Delray Beach, FLA. Loving grandfather to Ilana Davlin of Virginia Beach, VA and Hunter Davlin of Los Angeles, CA. Merton was a cherished uncle to Carol Schmidt and her husband, Andrew, of Poughkeepsie, NY and Judge Richard Shapiro of Los Angeles, CA. Merton was also beloved great-uncle to Beth Matthews and her husband, Giles and Michelle Willis and her husband, Robert.

Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Baker St Cemetery, 776 Baker St, West Roxbury. Family and friends are invited back to Merton’s late residence in The Towers at Chestnut Hill, 250 Hammond Pond Parkway, 14th Floor Function Room in the South Building, following the interment until 5:00 PM.
