Sporty Morty , it's been almost a year that Sporty MORTY Was  taken from us . Kenny and I  love and miss you as much today as we did on that very sad day you were taken from us  . We love you so very much and always will.  Besides having  tears in our eyes when we think of missing you ,we laugh when we think of all the funny things you always had to say. So sorry to hear of ''Morty"'s  passing, of course I always called him "Mr. Bressler".  Growing up in South Natick  on Rockridge Road with Bruce as my best friend was such an important part of  our lives.  I think about  it often and on the rare occasions I get to the East Coast I make sure I take a quick trip through the old neighborhood.  It was a different and in many ways better time.   I have so many great memories of Mr Bressler.  I probably spent almost as much time in their house as mine.... watching sports in the downstairs den with him in his favorite chair in the corner,  playing basketball in the driveway,  going to Temple  every High Holiday and Hebrew School ( three days a week )  going to Natick High Football games with my him and my Dad and Jeff and Randy  in the years after graduation trying not to freeze,  those great cars he had for all the driving he did for work, the beautiful  relationship he had with his wife , it was all so good, the complete package.  When I got the message from Bruce that his Dad had died, it just was such a sad moment, but at the same time a realization that it was a long long life well lived life.  He leaves a great legacy of love for his family and a love for life.    I am sorry that the current health crisis precludes people from coming for the services because I know there are countless numbers of people with great Morty stories to tell.   I will be there in spirit. 
 He will always have a smile on his face in our memories... .   Sending lots of love from all the Shumans to all the Bresslers. 

Morty, you were one special brother in  law. I WLL will always miss you. Who is going to be our Rabbi at the holidays? I don't think there will ever be another Rabbi Sporty Morty.  One great guy who will be missed every day.
Don't you worry about Barbara, we will make sure she's loved and taken care of every day.
92 years of making us laugh, now it's time to RIP

There are no words to express the sadness we feel at this time.  Morty was such a special man.  We will never forget all the good  times when we celebrated together the many special family occasions.  We were very lucky to be a part of his family.  Rest In Peace dear Morty!

I just read of Morty’s passing. Sending my sincere condolences to you and your entire family. I have so many beautiful memories from Portsmouth to Boca. Much love to you all.
