Born in Brooklyn, New York, he was the son of the late Phillip and Martha (Glotzer) Schnitt. He was an educated man and worked for many years as a Pharmacist.
He is survived by his son, Dr. Stuart Schnitt and his wife Teri of Boston; and his grandchildren: Matthew Schnitt and Emily Schnitt.
Graveside funeral services will be held on Thursday April 12, 2012 at 12:45 P.M. at Sharon Memorial Park, 120 Canton Street, Sharon, MA and will be officiated by Rabbi Earl Kideckel.
