Marc J. Gordon, 78, passed on September 17, 2023 from leukemia. He is survived by his wife, Judith; daughter Jamie, her husband Brad Lindenbaum and their two sons, Ben and Eli; son Nicholas; and daughter Emily, her husband Michael Feldberg and his daughter, Regan.
Marc was born and raised in the Boston area. Son of George and Sidney (Sara) Gordon, he was the youngest of three brothers (Lloyd Gordon and Alan Gordon). Marc was a proud graduate of Boston Latin School, then the University of Denver and Boston College Law School. Marc served for many years as general counsel to several companies, including AmcelCorporation and more recently Performance Building Company.
While his professional accomplishments were many, he will be remembered most for the personal impression he made; things that cannot be captured in words, but will be forever in the memory of those lucky enough to have been close to him.
Marc was beloved by all, his warm demeanor putting anyone at ease. He had a kind comment or story for everyone he met, and a remarkable recall for names and personal details. He was fiercely loyal to his family and friends will remember his small acts of kindness or large gestures of affection. Marc was an inherent care-giver, constantly reaching out to friends and particularly family; always a willing listener, offering sound counsel.
Marc loved movies, sports and traveling with his wife, family and friends. He enjoyed summering in Falmouth on the Cape, where the family long had a house, and then later wintering in Sarasota, FL. Marc was an avid golfer, making dozens of friends at the Leo J. Martin Memorial Golf course in Newton, where he played daily for several years.
