So sad. We were classmates at P.S. 208. All of us little boys loved her. She was talented charming and a beautiful young lady. We all knew she would be a great success. I also had the good fortune to be a student of Lyn's mother when I was in college. My sincere condolences. the world has lost a great person.

I just heard of the death of Lyn Tolkoff Daniels.  I went to P.S. 208 with her from first through sixth grade.  She was my first "crush"--she played the piano so beautifully and was a perfect little lady.  After 57 years I looked her up and had the nerve to call her.  I thought she wouldn't remember me, but instead the years melted away and we had such a warm conversation about our families and our commitment to Jewish life.  She told me she lived next door to her sister Nina, who was ahead of us school--they were always so close.  She told me she had a home in Richmond near our summer home in the Berkshires and we planned a reunion which, sadly, never occurred.  When I first called Lyn, her husband answered the phone and he was so pleasant and matter of fact when I told him I hadn't spoken to Lyn for almost 60 years but that we had gone to P.S. 208 together and he was so cool. My condolences go out to Lyn's husband and kids, and Nina at the loss of this lovely, classy, talented sweet woman who sat next to me in second grade.  May her memory be a blessing to you all. OMG  I just did a search on Lyn only to find out she had passed away.  I went to elementary school with her at P.S. 208.  She was lovely.
