My deepest sympathies to Jeffrey Kaufman's entire family.  It is an extreme lose for his family and his Hardware Specialty family.  Jeffrey was a gentleman in word and deed, with a quiet-spoken and distinguished manner.  He was a man that truly walked in his father's foot steps as he became the heart of Hardware Specialty.  It is truly a great sadness that he has departed from this life.  The solace that we may garner is that time helps us heal as memories, moments, laughter and words may come to us as we reminisce about Jeffrey and how he touched each and every one of us.

May the Lord keep you close to his bosom as you rest in peace.

Jeff made a lasting impression on me early in my career with Hardware Specialty. He embraced the things many of us might call small, but made us feel important and appreciated. On this particular gathering, we were together for a training event. He took the time to join us and celebrate our growth within the Company. We discussed movies and music, and identified a must-see movie one of us hadn't seen. He took the time to go to a store to buy that movie, and also proceeded to hand out gift cards to the rest of us and said, "My mother taught me that you don't give a gift to just one person."
I had the good fortune to get to know Jeff much more as the years went by in my current leadership role and quickly identified this thoughtfulness and attention to detail really was something that endeared him to so many, and so often. More and more of these examples come to mind as I reflect.
Thank you for all you've taught me Jeff, large and small. You will be missed.

My fondest memories of  camp Echo Lark was being in the same bunk and sharing the summers with Jeff.  He was kind and considerate and loved his family and friends. My thoughts and prayers are with his immediate family including Zona, Marla and Bruce.  He will truly be missed by all!

I knew Jeff from camp. He was a good soul. I am so sorry to hear this news. Thinking and sending love to Bruce,Marla and your mom. I will light a Shabbas candle tonight thinking of Jeff And praying for the whole family. May his memory be a blessing. 

Farewell my friend, you were taken far too early from this world. My only hope is that you are in your heaven, and that you’re  loving family heals as soon as time allows,  and that they’re memories of you give them tremendous solace and comfort. 

Thank you for all those very special times, most especially the ones at Fenway. They were always  fond memories, and now they will be even fonder.

Jeff's dad was as wonderful a human being as the world has ever known. I worked and listened to him for over 20 years. Jeff came to Massachusetts to study the business and I worked with him and laughed with  him He was his dad's son. A  good guy. A smart guy. A guy who loved and respected his dad and his dad's business. Soft spoken and kind.To his family and  his employees. I never got to work for Jeff directly but I know he carried on what Ed had accomplished for so many years. We always say "way too  young" when we lose someone. It is always way too early for any of us to pass.He left a kind mark on this world. Young man you did well.

My sincere condolences to you all on the passing of Jeffrey. For over 20 years now I have had the honor of working for and with  one of the most genuine, solid , truly wonderful human beings I have ever known and I send you all my heartfelt sorrow.  If there is anything that I can ever do for the Kaufman family, please just let me know.
Jeffrey will be soooo missed.

Vicki and family, I am so incredibly sorry for your loss. Jeff was a kind, generous, and caring man. He welcomed us and made us feel so comfortable when we stayed with you all at the lake.
