Jack Price of Dedham, MA, passed away peacefully at age 87 on June 30, 2022. Jack graduated from University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business in 1956. Two days later, he married his childhood sweetheart, Elisse Robbins. He was then commissioned as an Officer in the United States Supply Corps and remained active in the Navy Reserve until his retirement as a Captain in 1987 on board the USS Constitution. Jack's career was as a manufacturer’s representative for over 50 years.
Jack and Elisse have three married children, Warren and Naomi Price of Oklahoma, Michael and Wendy Price of Boston, and Amy and Ross Moldoff of Salem, NH. Jack was proud of and adored his 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, soon to be three: Sam and Dan (Jessica) Price, Jenny (Mike) Shearer, Ben Price, Emily Moldoff, Allison (Abraham) Esses, Nina Price, Sonny Esses and Henry Price.
Jack’s Judaism was important to him. He was proud of his participation at Temple Beth Elohim in Wellesley. He served on the Board of Trustees for over 50 years. His other positions included Temple Treasurer, Chairman of the Social committee and member of the Religious Practices, Building Fund and Finance and Archives committees. He was known for his expertise in blowing the shofar during the High Holidays for over 40 years.
Jack and Elisse travelled widely and loved going on cruises, especially trips with their children and grandchildren. They also loved their many dogs over the years.
His family will miss his warm and loving personality.

Funeral services will be held at Temple Beth Elohim, 10 Bethel Road, Wellesley, MA on Tuesday, July 5 at 10:00 AM, masks are required. Burial to follow at Temple Israel Cemetery, 492 North Avenue, Wakefield, MA.
Shiva will be held at the home of Elisse Price at NewBridge on the Charles, 5000 Great Meadow Road, Dedham, MA on Tuesday July 5 from 7:00-9:00PM and Wednesday July 6 from 2:00-4:00PM and 7:00-9:00PM. Masks are required.
