Rick also leaves behind cherished great nieces and nephews.
Rick was a 1965 Graduate of South Broward High School, Hollywood, Florida and a 1969 Graduate of Northwestern University. Rick worked as a financial planner and loved his volunteer work at the Arlington Council on Aging. He leaves behind heartbroken friends, family, neighbors and pets, all whom he dearly loved. Rick had a talent for listening to others and a tenderness, warmth, positivity, and wisdom that endeared him to all who knew him and leaves an enduring legacy in our hearts. Rick also found joy while vacationing in Maine by the ocean with Toni, nature hikes and quiet contemplative walks with friends, mountain climbing with family, biking, cooking/hosting meals for family and friends, dancing at family celebrations, and was the biggest fan at the performances of his nieces and nephews. His jokes and stories were a source of great joy to those who were fortunate enough to be in his company. We ask that those he left behind keep the jokes flowing as you navigate through your own lives. Rick’s humor will live on in each of us as we hold him deeply and forever in our hearts.
A memorial service will be held to honor Rick at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 13th at Levine Chapels, 470 Harvard Street, Brookline.
