She was the beloved wife of Samuel Seltzer and the late Leo Dunn.
Born in Vienna, Austria in November 1929, the daughter of Bruno Wolfe.
Helen came to the United States with a sign around her neck on the Bremen in September of 1939. Helen attended the George School and Radcliffe College. Helen went on to receive two Masters Degrees one in English and one in Education. Helen retired from the Winsor School Faculty after 22 years.
Devoted mother of Stephen W. Dunn, Jeffrey W. Dunn and Richard W. Dunn. Cherished grandmother of Melissa Dunn, Robert Dunn, Scott Dunn, Gregory James, Allison Dunn, Emily Dunn, Jake Dunn and Alec Dunn. Devoted step-grandmother of Sara and Stephanie Ball, Mathew and Abby Seltzer.
Funeral services will be held Thursday May 1, 2014 at 12:30 P.M. at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 1668 Beacon St., BROOKLINE. Interment to follow at Beth El Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors at the home of Sam Seltzer Friday, May 2nd, 2-5pm, 7-9pm. Saturday, May 3rd, 2-5, 7-9 and Sunday 2-5pm.
