Emily Diane "Em" (Yorshis) Kessler, of Methuen, on Wednesday, June 15, 2022. Devoted mother of Ezekiel Joseph (Joe) and daughter-in-law, Alicia Kessler, Toby Kessler and daughter-in-law, Esther Wiesner, and Jody Kessler. Beloved grandmother of Mikaela and Liora Kessler. Sister of Rosalee Schorr and Betty Jeanne Korson.
Em was an avid Red Sox fan and every year traveled to a different city to watch them play and to take in the sights as well. She was in a book club and especially enjoyed historical fiction. She attended Mount Holyoke College and Columbia University School of Social Work. As a social worker, she worked with troubled families in Boston for 20 plus years as well as other decades in the field. She took her family to Cape Cod every summer, saying it set her for the rest of the year. She was devoted to her family and close with many friends and colleagues.
